Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor from England. She is most famous for her role in the lead role of Martha Hanson on the FX period-set spy drama The Americans, for which she was praised by critics and received was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. She also appeared in Ryan Murphy's cult show Feud and Bette & Joan & Hollywood. Wright was born on July 12, 1976, in Sunderland. Her adoptive parents took care of her in the city.
